Timeless design weaves a rich tapestry of pattern and texture, making this handmade, one-of-a-kind Kantha Patchwork Jacket a work of folk art.
Created for The Canyon, it features a loose fit, deep pockets and is fully lined - try reversing it!
Kantha which means “patched cloth” is a 500 year old embroidery craft using a straight “running stitch” created by rural craftswomen with pieces of discarded fabric to make blankets. The women assemble our jackets with unique and sophisticated creativity, artfulness and combining of fabrics and patterns to create wearable collages.
Since they’re made from discarded fabric, no new raw materials, dyes or water were used in their production, the pieces they’re made from have been kept out of landfills and the jackets are made to last, making them an eco-friendly choice.
Material

Please note that though these pieces are new, the upcycled and vintage fabrics they are constructed from may show signs of wear or fading that contribute to their unique character.
