Each handcrafted Kantha jacket in our 2026 collection is uniquely quilted using traditional Kantha stitch techniques making each piece a one-of-a-kind work of folk art.
Kantha, which means “patched cloth,” is a 500 year old embroidery craft using a straight “running stitch” created by rural craftswomen using pieces of discarded fabric to make blankets. Our team use these vintage blankets to assemble our jackets with unique and sophisticated creativity, artfulness and combining of fabrics and patterns to create wearable collages.
Created for The Canyon, each jacket features a loose fit, deep pockets and is fully lined - try reversing it!
Since they’re made from discarded fabric, no new raw materials, dyes or water were used in their production, the pieces they’re made from have been kept out of landfills and the jackets are made to last, making them an eco-friendly choice.
